NetTutor now available at RU
Radford University students now have access to NetTutor, a free online service that provides tutoring in all subjects.
NetTutor is a comprehensive online tutoring service for all subjects, and is free to all RU students needing assistance with homework and studying.
All NetTutor tutors are highly trained experts in their respective courses.
NetTutor provides a service tailored to supplement the face-to-face tutoring available through RU’s Learning Assistance and Resource Center (LARC). Tutors are available to assist synchronously with other subjects extensively throughout the week.
"NetTutor is an online tutoring service available to Radford University students to supplement and enhance the face-to-face tutoring done in the Learning Assistance and Resource Center," said LARC Director Tracey Mattson. "Because the LARC is so popular with our students, the schedule tends to fill up very quickly early in the semester. NetTutor gives all of our students an opportunity to get the extra help they want, even when the LARC has no availabilities."
Live online tutors for math and statistics are available 24-hours a day, throughout the year, and live tutors for other disciplines for other disciplines are accessible extensively throughout the week. Students will have the capability to submit a question and later receive an answer from a tutor. Currently, the average response time is less than an hour.
In addition, an online Paper Center also is available to critique written assignments. Papers will be critiqued and returned within 48 hours.
