Radford University sees significant growth in local enrollment through targeted recruitment efforts

Radford University’s strategic focus on local recruitment efforts has yielded impressive results, with a substantial increase in enrollment from high schools and community colleges within a 100-mile radius of the campus.

This week in Highlanders in the News: Blair Hoke ’10 honored her mother’s memory through an extraordinary gift; junior Sela Beatty used the summer to help others; “Beans and Rice” hit the road to circulate fresh food; and the university just welcomed students for the fall, with a freshman class of more than 2,000 new faces.

Radford University prelicensure Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) students were greeted with new nursing skills bags when they returned to classes last month. 170 bags were provided by Carilion Clinic’s Nursing Services—enough to provide one for all of the BSN students.
