Purpose: Report cash payments in excess of $10,000.00 to the IRS in the effort to track money
laundering and illegal practices
Policy: It is this university’s policy to adhere to Internal Revenue Service (IRS) regulations
and report on IRS form 8300, Report of Cash Payments Over $10,000 Received in a Trade
and Business, all cash payments received from the same buyer (e.g., student) in excess
of $10,000 in related transactions during any twelve month period.
