The Partners in Excellence luncheon during Radford University’s annual Day of Gratitude is always a special occasion, but this year’s event offered an extra reason to celebrate.

Over the fall semester, Wohlford spent 14 weeks completing his teaching placements in Pulaski County and Blacksburg before landing at Fort Chiswell. The experience, he said, helped give him a sound foundation for a career in education.

The Modern Language Association of America is awarding its Morton N. Cohen Award this year to Radford History Chair and Professor Sharon Roger Hepburn.
