The Family Nurse Practitioner concentration of the D.N.P. program prepares graduates
with the knowledge and skills to synthesize and apply theories, clinical reasoning,
and research in the treatment of individuals, families, and groups across the lifespan.
As a Family Nurse Practitioner, you will play a pivotal role in delivering primary
healthcare to individuals across the lifespan, providing holistic and family-centered
care that addresses the diverse needs of patients and their families.
Upon successful completion of the approved courses, graduates are prepared to take
the Family Nurse Practitioner certification exam offered by either AANP or ANCC.
