This online course will provide students with an overview of team dynamics, team leadership
techniques, team protocols, and the appropriate application of interdisciplinary teams.
Detailed Description of Course
Content: Team protocols, dynamics, leadership techniques and the appropriate application
of interdisciplinary teams are introduced. This course will: focus on issues relevant
to team dynamics; examine how methodologies of “Team Wisdom” help navigate the spaces
of innovation, inspiration, ideation and implementation; help students learn to recognize
and develop their own depth of skill and disposition for collaboration across disciplines;
study the positive synergies developed between different disciplines; and explore

1. identify and define relevant aspects of team dynamics;
2. learn strategies in how to accept setbacks;
3. integrate practice models and demonstrate an understanding of their value;
4. generate an “environment” that encourages spontaneous interactions, risk taking,
and exploration;
5. test leadership strategies; and
