ECON 498: Independent Study

Credit Hours: (1-3)

Designed to permit students to investigate specific problems or areas of interest independently under the direction of a supervising professor.  May be taken either on a pass-fail basis or for a letter grade.  No student may apply more than six hours of credit for Independent Study toward graduation requirements.

 

Detailed Description of Content of the Course

Students will be researching topics approved by the department and college curriculum chair. It is desirable for students to develop the skills of independent study and research to facilitate continued learning and discovery in their profession.
