V. Course Description: Designed to examine the techniques of assessing physical fitness and provide practice assessing physical fitness components. This information will be interpreted and developed into an exercise prescription. Advanced techniques of assessment will be used in this class.

Designed to examine the techniques of assessing physical fitness, and provide practice assessing physical fitness components. This will include interpretation of results, and developing individual prescriptions based on fitness testing results. All tests are used in future jobs in the field. The students will evaluate, and practice assessment skills in:
The students will develop individual prescriptions based on the physical fitness data collected and write exercise prescriptions similar to work-life situation. Guidelines for testing and working with adults and special populations will be developed.
