Students will receive supervision in the development of a one-semester scholarly, entrepreneurial, or administrative project that synthesizes the student's educational and clinical experiences. Topics for projects are chosen collaboratively by the student and a program faculty member. The final project will be presented.

Detailed Description of Conduct of Course
Lectures on course content (seated, virtual, synchronous, asynchronous, etc.); explore topics through differing levels of research; participate in peer-evaluation. The course instructor will evaluate competency. This is a hybrid course.
Student Learning Outcomes
1. Conduct a literature review using a clinical question relevant to athletic training or health promotion practice using search techniques (e. g., Boolean search, Medical Subject Headings) and resources appropriate for a specific clinical question.
2. Describe a systematic approach (e. g., five step approach) to create and answer a clinical question to contribute findings to already established work through review and application.
3. Determine the effectiveness and efficacy of an athletic training or health promotion intervention utilizing evidence-based concepts.
