FINC 490: Finance Internship
Prerequisites: The student must have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher and permission of the instructor
Credit Hours: (3)
A one-semester program of work and study in the student's major area and/or career interest. Learning objectives, qualifications and hours of work approved by faculty coordinator and sponsoring agency. Final grade determined by supervising faculty. Graded A-F. Detailed Description of Content of Course
Allows the student to work in an outside agency which is specifically linked to the student's career interests.
Detailed Description of Conduct of Course
The course consists of outside employment related to the student's career interests.
Goals and Objectives of the Course
At conclusion of course, student will demonstrate a greater understanding of the chosen career field.
Assessment Measures
Assessment of the student's success is based primarily on a final report project and periodic meetings with faculty supervisor and organization supervisor.
