Contemporary issues in healthcare management are examined in preparation for the Healthcare
Administration internship. Current trends in healthcare are analyzed, as well as other
topics of special interest.

Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Analyze current trends in healthcare business practices, evaluating the effect of
such topics on healthcare delivery.
- Predict the impact of current healthcare issues on healthcare professionals and healthcare
delivery in general.
- Hypothesize the effect of changing trends on healthcare business practices.
