Gives an individual student the opportunity to examine a topic of personal interest in more depth than is possible in any existing course.
Detailed Description of Content of Course
Allows the student to examine a topic in more depth than is possible in an existing course.
Detailed Description of Conduct of Course
The course consists of independent research/study by the student from one or more of a variety of sources which may include primary and/or secondary works.
Goals and Objectives of the Course
At completion of course, student will demonstrate a greater understanding of a specific area of interest.
Assessment Measures
Assessment of the student's success is based primarily on the finished research report and periodic meetings with the supervising instructor.
