V. Course Description:
Students develop the knowledge, skills, and attitudes needed to provide acute, ambulatory,
and home care for selected health problems. Students apply the nursing process in
increasingly complex situations, integrating concepts of illness, disease management,
and health promotion. Emphasis is on the roles of designer/manager/coordinator of
care and interprofessional collaborator.
