VII. Goals and Objectives of the Course:

Upon successful completion of the course, the student will be able to:

  1. Apply ethical decision-making and the nursing process in a leadership role to promote, protect, and restore clients’ holistic health. (E- II, VI, VIII, IX; PO- 2, 6, 8 ,9)
  2. Assume professional responsibility and accountability for implementation of standards of nursing practice in a nursing leadership role. (E- II, IX; PO- 2, 9)
  3. Apply health care and information technologies through the leadership role to enhance professional nursing practice. (E- II, IV; PO- 2, 4)
  4. Demonstrate critical thinking to incorporate research findings while identifying changing health care needs and services of society. (E- III, VI, IX; PO- 3, 6, 9)
