EDSP 560: Current Problems in Special Education (Topic)

Examines a major problem or current topic in the field of special education, its implications, and possible solutions.

 

Detailed Description of Course

The topics will vary, based on the nature of current problems in special education. This is a 500-level course that may be taught concurrently with  EDSP 460. Graduate level students will have additional work required for graduate credit.

To  develop students' understanding of a current problem in special education, its implications, and possible solutions.

 

Assessment Measures 

Varied by topic addressed. 

When 460 and 560 are taught concurrently the syllabus will include specific requirements and performance expectations for graduate students that exceed those for undergraduate students.
