venues including old age, character, period and fantasy styles.

Detailed Description of Content of Course
The purpose of the course is to expose the student to the basic principals of theatrical makeup techniques with emphasis on their adaptation to actual production experiences.

Detailed Description of Conduct of Course
An informal approach in which the discovery of the principals used in theatrical makeup application.
Goals and Objectives of the Course
1. At the conclusion of this course theatre majors will be able to demonstrate the
basic skills needed in stage makeup. This includes the demonstration of the skills
needed for basic old age makeup, texture makeup, corrective makeup and period makeup.
2. At the conclusion of this course the undergraduate student will be able to demonstrate
the basic skills needed in stage makeup. This includes the demonstration of the skills
needed for basic old age makeup, texture makeup, corrective makeup and period makeup.
Assessment Measures
Graded assessment includes the assignment and presentation of projects both paper and actual in-class work. Class preparation and participation.
