Coming Soon: Artis Center for Adaptive Innovation and Creativity

At 178,000 square feet, the Artis Center for Adaptative Innovation and Creativity will be the largest academic building on campus. Designed by Hord Coplan Macht, the Artis Center will host innovative teaching spaces based on the integration of the arts, health sciences, and technology. The center will have performance venues, art studios, design labs, computer labs, maker spaces, virtual and augmented reality labs, clinical simulation training suites, and general classrooms.

The building, which represents the largest capital construction project in the history of the university, will house the College of Visual & Performing Arts and provide interdisciplinary spaces for the Artis College of Science and Technology and the Waldron College of Health and Human Services.

Construction of the Artis Center is scheduled for substantial completion in December 2023 with move-in beginning during the spring and summer months of 2024. Classes are anticipated to be held in the new facility starting in the Fall 2024 semester.
