About the Honors College

The Honors College at Radford University exists in order to assist motivated and intellectually mature students in making the most of their education. We are not an honors society or gold sticker, but an academic program and social community designed to support your pursuit of excellence. To facilitate this goal, the Honors College helps students build connections between themselves, their professors, and similarly engaged students from majors across campus. Through distinct courses, individualized academic experiences, residential life, and special events, the Honors College seeks an authentic community that sparks curiosity in our students. There is no cost to participate in any aspect of the Honors College. Our program is a member of the National Collegiate Honors Council, the Southern Regional Honors Council, and the Virginias Collegiate Honors Council.
