Mission
Institutional effectiveness is the ongoing, university-wide process of planning and
outcomes assessment to advance the institutional mission and strategic objectives.
The mission of the Office of Institutional Effectiveness and Quality improvement (IEQI)
is to provide leadership and assistance to support and document Radford University’s
mission-centered planning, assessment, and evaluation processes. The office works
collaboratively with administrators, faculty, and staff to promote systematic, integrated,
and evidence-based institutional planning that ensures continuous quality enhancement
of programs, services, and operations.

Assessment and Evaluation
Facilitate institution-wide assessment and program evaluation to enhance educational
quality and strengthen operational effectiveness.
Accreditation
Manage institutional, state, and disciplinary accreditation processes to ensure compliance
with external reporting requirements.
Institutional Data
Support the design, delivery, collection, analysis, use, and reporting of survey and
other data to guide informed decision-making, policy development, and processes.
Professional Development
Provide guidance, training, and consultation on quality improvement strategies and
practices.
