Pre-Quest Information
Stay on campus before your Summer 2024 Quest session!
If you would like to stay the night on campus before your Quest session (this is optional), please be sure to register for our Pre-Quest overnight accommodations. To access your Quest reservation, please log into your Highlander Portal, and then click on the Quest link in your Enrollment Checklist.
In order to best prepare for your arrival, we require that both students and family
members register for Pre-Quest overnight accommodations at least five days prior to
your stay.
Check-in for Pre-Quest is in Madison Hall from 5 to 10 p.m.
Pre-Quest Check-In Information
Pre-Quest housing is available for students and family for the following Quest 2024 Radford campus dates and sessions:

When can I check-in for Pre-Quest?
Pre-Quest Check-In will be from 5 to 10 p.m. the evening before your session.
Unfortunately due to University policy we are unable to check students and family in after 10 p.m. If you will be arriving after 10 p.m. we ask that you please make other overnight accommodations before your Quest session.
Where do I check-in when I arrive to campus?
Pre-Quest Check-In will be in Madison Hall. Review directions and a campus map.
Do students and families stay in the same residence hall?
Students and families stay in separate rooms and residence halls. Families will not have a roommate or share a bathroom with another family. Students, will be assigned a roommate of the same gender preference and will share a suite style bathroom with students of the same gender indentification.
What will my residence hall room include?
During Pre-Quest and Quest sessions, each residence hall room will include:
- Air conditioning
- Private bathroom for families, suite style bathroom for students
- Two twin sized extra long mattresses
- Pillow and pillow case
- Sheets
- Blanket
- Washcloth, towel, and bathmat
- Toilet paper
- Hand soap
Rooms do not include a TV but you'll be having so much fun you won't miss it!
Where can I park when I arrive to campus?
Please park on campus for Pre-Quest Check-In in any of the red or yellow lots.
- You do not need a parking pass to park on campus for Pre-Quest or Quest.
- Please do not park at metered spaces on campus
- Please do not park in designated accessible parking without the proper tag or plate
- Please do not park in our spaces marked "Guest Parking". You are not a guest! You are a Highlander!

Where are the dining options on campus?
Dalton Hall, campus dining, will be open for dinner from 5 to 6 p.m. We also have various dining options for your convenience within walking distance to campus.
