About Us

The Office of Research, Faculty Success & Strategic Initiatives advances the Research & Creative Scholarship enterprise, faculty thriving, and mission-central strategic initiatives. Using an equity-minded lens, we aspire to prepare all our students and support our faculty as we tackle the complex, multifaceted, and interdisciplinary challenges facing our local and global community.

The Research & Creative Scholarship Enterprise includes the Office of Sponsored Programs and Grants Management, the Research Compliance Office, and the Office of Undergraduate Research and Scholarship which supports, and advocates for faculty and students as they engage in research, scholarship, and creative inquiry.

Our thriving faculty community is supported by Faculty Development and the Center for Innovative Teaching and Learning.  Experiential learning initiatives are advanced via the McGlothlin Center for Global Education and Engagement, the Honors College, the Citizen Leader Program, Center for Career and Talent Development and online offerings.

Working with partners from across the institution, the region and the globe, we help faculty and students generate knowledge and create opportunities that support our community and advance the mission of Radford University.
