The office of Substance and Violence Education Support services (SAVES) houses Highlander HOPE (formerly known as the Collegiate Recovery Community) at Radford University, as part of the Division of Student Affairs. Our mission is to provide a safe, comfortable environment for students in recovery and those that consider themselves allies to individuals in recovery to strive academically, attend to their emotional and physical well-being with trained professionals, and connect socially with other students in recovery and allies to students in recovery.
We hold group-counseling sessions and SMART Recovery meetings through the SAVES office, which all are welcome to attend. We also have a recovery lounge in Heth Hall 243!
Join us as we create a safe space and thriving community for students in recovery at Radford University.
