The course is designed to be self-paced using programmed learning exercises, computer assisted instruction and audio pronunciations.

Upon successful completion of the course students will recognize, interpret, pronounce and use medical terms and abbreviations required to effectively communicate in the health care setting.

Assessment Measures

Assessment measures include quizzes and tests administered electronically in a proctored computer lab.
