Professional Consulting
The Radford University Forensic Science Institute (RUFSI) offers professional consultation and assistance to public and private agencies in the areas of:
- geophysical and archaeological search and reconnaissance of prehistoric, historic, and modern human remains;
- archaeological excavation of prehistoric, historic, and modern human remains;
- scientific analysis of prehistoric, historic, and modern human remains;
- "Phase I and II" archaeological survey of sites of historic and prehistoric significance;
- educational training in the search, recovery, and analysis of forensically-significant human remains.
The RUFSI also offers archaeological assistance with cultural resource management projects and prehistoric and historic skeletal analysis.
